It’s certainly not news that IP law is ever-evolving.

For the last decade, Congress and the courts have continued to grapple with issues ranging from what it means to "copy" in a digital environment to what constitutes patent-eligible subject matter. As law tries to address those issues, technology and markets continue to change, impacting not only on how the law applies, but on how both lawyers and clients do business. What lies ahead?

At the 2011 AIPLA Mid-Winter Institute, top-flight speakers from the bench, private practice and academia will address how the changes in the law and technology affect you and the clients you serve. Our panels will provide you with both theoretical considerations to shape your practice and nuts and bolts discussions to address concrete issues for today’s practice. Dress is casual, but expect a lively and rigorous discussion of issues essential to all IP practitioners.
